Hi All

I was diagnosed about 5 years ago with Type II. Since then I have been up and down, good and bad. For the last few months, very bad. Last time I had an HBA1C it was 11.1. My BG can be anything up to 27 ish. I'm 44, I weigh 12st 11 and I'm about 5' 11 so I'm probably a few pounds over weight.

I've tried different regimes and I'm supposed to be on the twice a day one at the moment but I just cannot get into the swing of it.

I've got to the stage where I'm ashamed to go back to the doctor! I've heard about this once a week injection but I'm not sure what it's called.

Can anyone let me know their experience of this please?

Regards

A

Hi 2610 and welcome to the forum

The medication is called Bydureon and is an Exenatide. You will find at least one thread on it in the Diabetes Medication and Drugs forum.
