I doubt you will get a fasting insulin test, but every thing else you mention is covered by the full panel test. If uncertain as to your diagnosis you could ask for C-Pep and GAD tests my GP was reluctant to do those two tests though and in fact refused to do so.
I think the lipid panel covers liver enzymes, which could identify fatty liver.
Abdominal fat, probably just use a measuring tape and waist to height or waist to hip ratio.
Other tests, hba1c. Basic metabolic panel. Urinalysis. Thyroid.
Insulin or c-peptide should have a fasting blood glucose done at the same time to give context.
