been in a relationship for two years,my partner and go drinking couple off times a month ,after 5 or so beers i'm ready to go to bed ,no energy takes me a couple off days to get over it.i'm at the point i don't want to drink or go out. is there anything i can take or eat to make this experience more enjoyable?
I don't drink myself because it affects blood sugar so much, if it takes you a few days to recover maybe it's your body telling you something? Cutting the drinking down to have three instead of five beers might help. I'm not really sure what else you can, hopefully someone else can help you.
Acceptance of health treatment claims that are not adequately supported by evidence. I dislike it when people sell ineffective and even harmful alternative health products to exploit the desperation of people with chronic illness.
You can still go out, just drink less or no alcohol. Currently I stick to sprite zero but these are the things I have tried over the years, to avoid hangovers or other issues:
- light beer
- drinking more slowly, letting the drink get warm, lol
- having a glass of water in between each drink
- wine or spirits instead of beer
- lemon, lime and bitters... only has a trace of alcohol in it
