I only mention this as my GP suggested to me this could be why I was so thirsty in the middle of the night. The soreness and dryness was waking me up also.
If it is wasnt this, it was the need for the loo and another thirst quenching drink!
Becomes a catch 22 thing! Ring anyones bells?

I do remember going through periods of dry throat over the years but just used to glug Linctus (even in the night when it gets bad) and only now I thought I'd look at the back of my throat... :?
Got an appointment with the doc this Thurs to check further.
So get a mirror, get a under a light and check your throats people
Edit: I've now developed a mouth ulcer... something's going on here...
