What's the last thing you ate that was naughty on the waistline?

Be spectacular! Be wild! Be thoroughly wicked!! Challenge your waistline!! Have a Costa chocolate twist!!! Like I did this morning..... Haven't been feeling brilliant recently and wondered if I had gone too low on the carbs (for me), so decided to throw caution to the wind with said pastry, rather than be sensible. Not to be recommended, obviously. Please please don't tell me the carb count (I could look it up myself but I won't!)!

Sweet and sour chicken balls, beef chow mein pineapple rice and chips. half portions of each if that makes any difference.

Christmas Day I was a carb shark, if it wasn't in someone else's mouth then I was all over it.

I consider a lot of my low carb food to be naughty after years of low fat dieting.
I've just had egg and bacon with mushrooms fried in butter.. some might consider it naughty but it's perfect for me.

I had fish & chips (small handful) and my BG went up from 4.8 to 7.9 (much too high for me). Did not feel well until it started going down 3 hrs later.

Too much cheese and too many nuts. Bloat and pain. I think I’ll find something else....

Cadbury's whole nut milk chocolate. I just wish I felt guilty! But oh it was gorgeous...... (and I did fire in the right amount of insulin so we can all pretend it never happened, can't we???)

Couple of units extra this morning and then an apricot croissant with a coffee in Nero's......

Very nice.......

For a week now, I've been trying the idea of "eating all the lchf food I want", in the hope that my appetite for fatty things would be less than it is for carby things.

Nope.

After eating a bowl of nuts and double cream for breakfast (tiny but 500 calories), I'll happily have two more. And belly pork with broccoli? Crack cocaine. And nut butters for dessert? I can mainline the stuff.

My waistline, weight and fasting blood sugar have all increased.

I think I just need to accept that I have a crazy appetite, and if I'm going to control T2 with diet, there is no easy option for me: it's going to come down to discipline. I need to avoid buying pots of double cream in the same way I need to avoid buying cakes.

I was so hungry that I made myself a coffee with double cream. That wasn't enough so I got a spoon and ate the rest of the cream direct from the pot!
