I am still new to this, but I have found Mattessons Meateors fill the hole, a smidgen over 5 carbs and just 266 calories. I love em!

I found Waitrose Cauliflower & Paneer Bhajis yesterday, 4 in a pack and only 10.3g of Carbs per pack so 2 will suffice.

70+% choc

Just eat the appropriate number of squares... lovely. and comparatively slow release too.

My favourites are small cubes of Double Gloucester and Chives or Applewood smoked cheeses, cut into half-inch squares - I suck them also a few spoonfuls of full-fat Greek yoghurt, M+S crispy bacon strips, a few almonds or walnuts, others enjoy berries and cream!

mmm crispy bacon strips.. genius idea..

Home made protein balls. About 15g carbs depending how big I make them. Make enough for the week on a Sunday but lucky if they last past Friday.

Boursin cheese slightly warmed to soften it with celery sticks to scoop it up. Cheese, sausage, pickles, and hard boiled eggs for a snack or a meal depending on quantity. Bacon jerky, yummmm.

chicken drumsticks do it for me

Oh I forgot about drumsticks. My favourite picnic lunch - chicken drumstick and container of boiled eggs chopped up with salt and butter.

Not quite 5g but Jubbly lollies are 6g if you fancy a sweet, cold treat. £1 for 10

I don't really do snacks I have a very small appetite since I have been taking Metformin so as much as I can do to eat two or three meals a day

My favorite low carb food is cottage cheese. I use the low -fat type, either curd. There are 5 carbs. in 1/2 cup. It can be eaten with fruit- all types of berries. and veggies -raw celery, pepper, and any other you can think of. Sometimes I eat it as breakfast w/fruit and covered w/ nuts- usually walnuts and a dollop of light yogurt. Sometimes I eat it as lunch with the veggies or with the fruit (if I didn't eat it for my breakfast.) It is also good as a snack in the afternoon.
