What's your favourite ad on the telly?

This is cheating a bit, because fag adverts weren't allowed on the telly even in the Eighties, and it only appeared in the Cinema, but I always thought this one was very cool - which I guess was the point - even though I've always loathed smoking.

Directed by Hugh Hudson (Chariots of Fire) and music by Godley and Creme (10 cc).

I think sometimes I prefer the adverts to what is showing on TV

I dont remember much about TV growing up so cant recall adverts apart from the Smash Martians and the PG Tips monkeys.

These days I find adverts make me chuckle - love the Haribo ones and also the one with the fella in heels and denim shorts dancing his stuff (I think its for an insurance company but cant quite recall as I'm fascinated by this fella in heels). I think they have a new one now where he is doing a face-off with the builders

No TV but I do have to suffer the endlessly repeated adverts on the laptop! I almost know the words to them all! I hate that Audi Ad with the car in the store...Going EEEP!

School kids are on holiday at present and the drive carefully campaign is going full strength.

I really can’t stand the singing sisters on The Nationwide ads at the moment
