Just completed the form.

So I send it off - & then what happens?

Only been on insulin a few days and my blood glucose readings were sky high, so no hypos yet.

They'll write back to you and say that you've been issued with either a 1,2 or 3 year restricted licence, they may request more time so that they can write to your HCP's for more info, just wait and see and try not to worry.
 
I filled in the online form (got T1 diagnosis on Wednesday). Will they send a physically different photocard and will I have to pay the renewal fee now every 3 years instead of 10?
 
I completed my forms and returned them to DVLA in early september. Its now mid dec, and their doctors are still looking at it. Mabne I've confused the DVLA by saying that I'm T3c.

This and only having monocular vision may well mean they have to ghink outside their (tick) box.
