I was wondering how many of you receive the Diabetes Daily weekly e-mails? The e-mails have links to various articles. Of these I only read them if the heading suggests it is of interest. Yesterday’s contained an article “Are You Badly Underestimating Fast Food Calories, Too?”. The article featured McDonalds and Subway. What puzzled me was the analysis contained calories, fat and sodium with no mention of carbohydrate content. This is as useful to us as a chocolate fireguard! McDonalds publish full analysis of their food and drinks so it is easy to work out your carbs.
Have bee nsearching for info on lower carbs and generic info and found myself on the Diabetes UK site. This list doesnt include everything but its got a lot of foods, good luck.
