Libre isn’t a proper CGM because although the sensor stores 8 hours of readings, you have to “flash” it with a phone or the scanner to get the readings.

Now that I’ve been fortunate enough to get mine on long term prescription, I’ve ordered a MiaoMiao to attach to it - that’ll ping it every few minutes, Bluetooth the bg info to my phone and then to my Pebble smartwatch. Hopefully! So that’ll turn it into a proper CGM. @Scott-C is the expert on all the tech side of it though.
