Has anyone tried this ?

Spotted it in Tesco yesterday, Wheyhey "The Protein Ice Cream"

Comes in a box with 4 100ml pots inside.

Each pot is 83kcal, 3.3g Fat, 8.0g Protein, 8.3g Carb (0.4 sugars[lactose] 7.9g polyols)

Tesco had Vanilla or Chocolate favours available.

I'll look out for it next time I'm in Tesco.

Must look for this!

I bought it in Holland and Barrett . It had a bit of an aftertaste from the sweetener but not enough to detract from enjoyment. I miss icecream and this was a great surprise

I got the chocolate one from Tescos the other day. It was OK - not as indulgent as Ben & Jerry's, but nothing like as compulsive either - which for me is a positive! I'm confident I can keep a few in the freezer and enjoy one now and again.

I'd like to try the banoffee one if I can find it.

Update:

Very much like Oppo, first spoonful is nice, second less so, after that

It look much like Oppo in some of the ingredients (carrageen etc) but cheaper than Ocado's current 3 mini Oppo tubs for a fiver offer, and I think it's slightly lower carb, but for me a major no-no is the use of the dog killer sweetener xylitol. Unfortunately.

In Tesco yesterday I couldn't find Oppo or whey hey icecream but they did have Franks diabetic icecream. I tried it at teatime and really enjoyed it. BUT I haven't yet tested my bs so I will edit this post with any significant results. I had 100ml and this gave 163 calories and 18g of carbohydrate. This seems a lot but I had swam for 70 minutes so felt it was the day to try it.
