Who are they?

It’s been fun standing in for Willie for the past couple of weeks but I find I don’t have the skills to keep doing it. I know that when I post a photo I am posting the answer along with it. Willie had a way of dealing with this and currently I haven’t.

Asking the contestants to not peek is not the best way of carrying on if this thread is to endure.

If someone can get Willie to come back then I will contribute to the bribe. Izzzi owes me a tenner so I will chip that in.

What I suggest is that someone else who knows what they are doing offers their services. Hopefully that will be Willie but if not ................
 
I would give you a hand but I go on holiday tomorrow to Weymouth for 10 days.

If you are reffering to the way I know them it is nothing to do with the way it is posted.

If I remember the rules say "do not image search or use links from picture" as it spoils the nature of the game.
Therefore your contribution has been splendid and should be honoured with at the least a knighthood.

Might be a idea for the last winner (sorry Zola) to have a go and then next winner takes a turn so on,until Willie returns
 
Have I done something wrong??

I don't understand how I could have known the pic by the pic...If you get my drift. Plenty of times I know who it is but take a back seat to give someone else a chance. If I know instantly I just can't resist posting....

I will take a step back this time then.

Well Squire, I would like to thank you very much for standing at the helm recently. I for one, have no idea how you can cheat, and if people are going to cheat what is the flaming point? This behaviour is indicative of some people today. Winning, even if that means cheating is such a pathetic way of carrying on. It has spoilled the game for the rest of us that were just enjoying genuinely trying to guess who the pic was.

I understand Squire was quite reticent to take up the challenge, and after all this, I can totally understand his stepping down, imagine how he feels, why should he bother.

Perhaps we underestimated the effort it took Willy to do the grand job he did, and I think the suggestion that the previous winner posts the next pic. is worth giving a shot, as long as people who guess can post pics and perhaps the awards will have to stop. If that is not an option, well the thread has to stop.

Once again Squire, I appreciate your valliant efforts, Thankyou, and to anyone who has cheated just to win, I feel sorry for you

I am not accusing anyone of cheating, and if you didn't cheat, you'll know this is not aimed at you.

Hope you post a progress report soon Willy, haven't heard from you for a bit. xx
 
Thank you for the Knuthood Izzzi and I like the suggestion that a winner post the next one. This means I can be a contestant again.

However, since this could come as a surprise to zolabud who may not have been expecting it I offer the following photo. Whoever names him gets to choose the next one.

I know about Google image search but don't use it as it ruins the fun, I still don't know how to find the name on the picky and I play this game honestly and have a lot of fun guessing the pics.

Thanks Squire for stepping in and hope Willie is getting better.

I haven't the foggiest on this one. He looks a bit like Terry Thomas but other than that....
 
Well done Squire. he does look familiar but I have not got a clue yet.
He looks like Michael Caine a bit.

I think the 'cheating' was banter wasn't it because some people can see the name in the URL? I don't think it was serious cheating!

And this one looks annoyingly familiar - as usual!!! Lol
