Soo nice to see new names in the thread, welcome to you
and a huge thank you for getting involved.
The members, as you've no doubt discovered already, are
very friendly and helpful. I'm eternally grateful to them for
keeping the thread rolling along while I'm having to take a
break due to health problems.
I'm hoping to get involved again as soon as possible, but
in the meantime here's a one for you all. Please keep going
as you have been and I'll try and post another in when I can.
In other words, please don't stop posting in your images,
count this one as a bonus, with a name check for
whoever guesses correctly.
OK then.......
He was a very famous and exceptionally well known eccentric American.
His father, was a construction worker, his mother an embroiderer.
His career took him in a different direction than his father's, though
you "could" say he constructed items himself.
There once was an attempt on his life. He was seriously injured but
survived however, he suffered the resultant physical effects for the rest
of his life. Hence, perhaps, his serious demeanour.
