Who are they?


Bert Kamfert


At a quick glance it could be Frank Sinatra I thought.


He was only 53 when he died of a stroke
(he was a heavy smoker)at his home in Majorca.

His link with Africa was one of his biggest hits, "Afrikaan Beat".
Among many others.....
he wrote the scores for Elvis's film G.I. Blues .
and the music "Strangers in the Night" for Frank Sinatra.
Another of his biggest hits was "Red Roses for a Blue Lady".

A talented and gifted man.

I am having problems with my lap top etc; and this site seems to be going to the wrong thread every time I click.
Not to sure what is is,as it Where is my son when you need him.
 

My quick link isn't working, so I have to go to search each time.
And my attachments froze, I had to re-start twice.
Maybe the broadband is overworked at weekend.

I don't know why Willie but my surface is always having blips. You think you are getting state of the art getting windows. But the good news is I got my sick Desktop back yesterday. My graphics card had given up the ghost, but I have had it 14 years, much better for playing games on. Or perhaps its a sign of old age liking the bigger screen .These tablets etc slide all over the place. Mind you It does take good photos.
