Am I right or am I right izzi and Giverny

I still don't know who she is but I think this is a relative. She looks just like her especially the hat.

Shut up lads, she said so, and now I suspect Wee Willie is angry at me giving all these clues.(hear is another one, who does she think she is).

Is it Princess Micheal of Kent ?

There is nothing like a

Willie is going to kill me if I give any more clues.

Fairly easy one this time. (Errrmm, I think)

Sadly, no longer with us.
He died in 1992.

Fine head of hair,
but he ended up wearing a toupee.

Madam, PLEASE!!!

Thanks Willie, this was nice and easy for a Sunday start. There is nice house in a cheddar village which I think you can still visit.
Roy.

Hi All .

That last one did my head in ...

Trouble was I am so used to seeing her as she is 'now'
the younger version of her - it just simply didnt 'twig' with me
till I worked more with the helpful and hinted clues given .

I am both chuffed and relieved to have finally cracked it 'YAY'

Its a great topic and thread for us all though
A nice change to relax , have some fun , and try and crack the mystery faces .

Now - for this next one - ermmm is it - Larry Grayson?

Anna.

I agree it is a good topic.
That is why if you get it early, it helps to give others a daft clue .
It Is UP to Wee Willie to give us this choice,

Actually my wife and I were lucky enough to fly over a place "on a helicopter" which this person once was. This is not a clue, yet could be.

Roy,

On circumstantial evidence I am going to guess at Frankie Howerd.

The evidence:

He's dead.
He died in 1992.
Could well have worn a toupe for all I know.
He did use to say things like Madam, PLEASE!!!

I can certainly see the resemblence in his smile .

Did he wear a toupe ? Maybe ?

Yep I will go along with Frankie Howard too

Anna.

If it was Frankie Howard, that means I was lucky enough to fly over Pompeii,(The good old days when companies had staff perks.)

Anna.

Since I wrote the post above I have read a bio which does mention his toupe but I am still only about 90% certain and may well have to return the medal I was awarded.

Stolen from Wikepedia:

"museum of Howerd's collection of memorabilia and personal effects such as his false teeth and ill-fitting toupee to raise funds for charities."

Apparently it's important that his name is spelled HowErd. I don't know why except that he especially changed it to make it so.

Brilliant, Got to find out why.
Things like this make this thread so interesting.

I have mild dyslexia and thought Howerd was wrong when I copied it,so I kept changing it.(I am now over the moon).
Roy,

Somebody name the guy for goodness sake.

Not with an "is it"...
No guessing.
Just say it with confidence.

Who is it then :?:
