Who are they?

I'm pleased you like the award izzzi.
I've heard of guys who can recognize a car make by the sound of their engine.
Absolutely no shame in that at all.

I take my hat off to you, very impressive.

Well done Squire Fulwood, you seemed to have got that clue with Toyah.

Merry Christmas to all on this "who are they" topic
I intended to send in a positive comment as izzzi did Squire, so I'll use his post to say, I totally agree.

Well done.

And a Merry Christmas to you too, izzzi and everyone else.

I say dear girl, your link rather unfortunately, or perhaps fortunately, depending on the workings of one's mind, does not appear to be a functioning link.
Pity, for I was eager to see how wrong you were.

Zola's Link works well on my book Mr Pickwick

Works ok for me Willie....

Will I ever get the hang of this new fangled but prettier board?

Anyway, Zola's link works fine for me so I am beginning to think that there might be only one person for whom it doesn't.

I interrupt this thread with fairly recent news.

I bought a new metal shed and put it up beside the garage. It was galvanised and painted in a polymer paint and guaranteed not to rust for at least ten years. It took two days to erect.

It blew away in the gale on Friday night.

Still, at least it didn't rust.

You are absolutely correct Squire, the fault does appear to be at my end as the link is now working for me also.

So dearest zola, I send you this by way of a full public apology ....... ....

Awwww..... Willie !!

I am overcome with emotion.....

You must feel gutted Squire.
Hope you're insured .

Love that image, izzzi.

Incidentally, the car images were just an extra kind of bonus thingie as you're an impressive car enthusiast.

Sorry to hear about your recent event, It is not funny when these metal sheets fly around all over the place.
Hope it all works out for you when the wind calms down.
Let the company you purchased the shed from know, they may take pity and give you a shed for cost price. (hope I have not left any words out this time)
Also have a lovely Christmas and happy new year)

CHARLES DICKENS . . ...

Respect guys, but only two winners, what a pity.
Better luck next time.

And
2nd Squire Fullwood.

Appeared to be half cut at times when
he met his peers at home or abroad.

Good luck.

Merry Christmas every body, I am going on the clue to think Oliver Reed. or even Richard Burton, but lost with the picture.

By the way glad I am a kind of veggy person these days, I could not believe the price of a turkey.
Also Josephine ask me to get some crackers yesterday, I came back with Jacobs cream crackers, Nobody told me she meant Xmas crackers, I am now in the dog house.

Can only nip in for a minute.

Pontrhydyfen, Wales, where Richard Burton was born, is approx 3363 Miles from where the "The Guess Who" was born.
Have fun.

Hope everybody had a very pleasant Christmas day.
