Question I ask myself is a high blood potassium level a early sign of LADA / Type 1.5 (not enough Insulin as potassium cannot get into cells ) I am no expert I was Just thinking.
Sorry for digging up an old thread, but isn't there an issue with type 2 and possibly type 1 with removing sodium ? would this lead to lower potassium as when one is high the other is low ?
Sometimes I do wonder if medicine has made any significant progress in dealing with the "chronic progressive" diseases that aren't easily helped by medication. Seems to me that we have consistently got it wrong.
