Type 1 Without maintaining 15 or 20 minutes

What will happen while we keep 15 or 20 minutes for taking food after injucting fasting acting insulin through pen?
Sometime I have the difficulty for keeping this time duration for lunch.
Anybody facing this situation .Please help me?
 
I'm not sure what exactly you're asking. Are you asking about timing your insulin so that it kicks in at the perfect time during your meal?
 
Always test your blood before taking fast acting insulin but they do say entering carb intake 15 minutes before eating, as then a spike in sugars is less likely to occur.
