I work in the building game as an electrician , it’s a physically demanding job which is hard because I have arthritis in my knees . Currently doin about 9 to 10,000 Step’s a day would this exertion affect mr BG readings coz I’ve noticed in the last few days they are going up a bit . But I’m eating more or less the same stuff

Peadair, If anything exercise should help. It can take a while to work out what the happy level of carbs is. Everybody is different but after a few months I've settled on 20g per meal or 30g if it is low GI. Some of us are lower than this and some are higher. Takes time and testing.

I see we share a birthday too. If you don't mind me asking, are you a London born Paddy or an ex pat. Just interested that's all. I'm an Aussie but have strong ties family wise and visit sometimes.

I have sore knees too but I thought that was just too much praying and begging Mrs Croc for forgiveness.

Hi crocodile fyi I am neither an ex pat or a London Paddy . I am an Irishman living in London but just passing through as they say . Thanks for the reply only doin this for about 5 weeks . So it’s a work in progress
My Carb intake over the day is only about 30 to 40 gr
But I’m tryin to lose a bit of weight . Was 18 10 in January need to get to 15 7 at the moment am about 16 10 so headin in the right direction . G day mate

You'll find losing weight makes a massive difference. I dropped from 106 kg down to 89 and it really helped a lot. Even my knee is not so sore now that it doesn't have to carry an extra 17 kg of blubber. You've done well to lose what you have done in only 3 months.
