Take her to a dr
If her glucose reading is accurate and is normal range, she wouldn't have diabetes. Urination can be from a few things one of which is a uti, take a first wee sample of the morning with you, there are some office tests they can run, but definitive testing will take a few days. If the dr suspects an infection, he will prescribe an antibiotic
If her condition deteriates of you think she needs attention sooner you could go to A&E
If you are extremely worried and to give you peace of mind, please go to A&E so the triage nurse can have a look at her and properly assess and decide from there. If it turns out to be a minor problem, they will give you referrals to the GP the ff day and discharge instructions.
I'm worried about the vomiting and shaking.
Hope she'll be okay.Me too love.
Thank you love. Blood tests are OK - she's waiting to see the Dr. I can't believe how fast they got her in. I can take a lot, but when it comes to my kids...Hope she'll be okay.
That's good, she'll be seen soon. I do understand how you feel, most parents are extremely worried because kids don't normally speak out or complain if they are sick especially the small/young ones, so it can be frustrating and most of them say they would rather have the fever rather than their child have it...The staff has experience with these cues from the kids and will take care of her there in the kids hospitalThank you love. You're welcome. You haven't caused a problem at all @guitarman. yes was thinking about that earlier, hormones can cause it, was thinking they would do tests for those too.Blood tests all good but they want us to stop her from drinking so much water (5 bottles in an hour!!). Further tests forthcoming. They say it could be a virus stimulating her to drink so much, or behavioural, or a hormone thing. That's a lot of water for a grown man, let alone a 6 year old girl. Hopefully it passes and she's OK.
Thank you for your help and concern, it means a lot.
