Hi, ktnic, I just use my phone for the forum, don't know what it looks like on a pc, but on a phone, when you go into a forum sub-area, there's a green button at the top, "Post New Thread".

After you've started a new thread or want to keep an eye on ones you've posted on or just want to watch, there's a, "Watch Thread" option just below the thread title. Click that, confirm it, then the next time someone posts on it, you'll get a green flag next to your avatar icon at top right. It'll show a number for the number of responses, click that and it'll bring up a list of the responses, click those to take you to the thread.
