Well done the cumbrians
Well done Leeds!

Its early days yet mate. I've known us start **** in the past and come good in the 2nd half of season. Lets hope your bad start is just a blip.

Hmm; Saints looked like they were going to do a classic performance, throwing away a 2 goal advantage, but Charlie Austin converted a penalty in extra time, to make it 3-2 against Wet Spam. First home goals at St Mary's for quite some time.....

Nice to see Gabbiadini scoring - and Charlie Austin - and a certain irony that the second goal was also a penalty, brought about by José Fonte (ex Saints Captain) bringing down Steven Davis in the penalty area. I'd like to think it was a generous gesture to his ex team mates but I doubt it, somehow :).

Oh - and we leapfrogged the Terriers. Sorry, mate :(

Saints are now mostly owned by a Chinese family. It'll be interesting to see where this takes us. The Leibherr family have been great owners, and have re-established Saints as a Premiership team with stable finances. I suspect that the new owners will follow the same philosophy - well, I certainly hope so - and there is some reassurance in being owned privately rather than by a faceless corporation. We'll see.

Should be a good match, but you'll understand that I probably won't be rooting for the Terriers :D.

I think the last Saints/Terriers match was a Division 1 fixture?

That's quite alright old boy I do understand :D
Yes I'm sure you are right there it was a Championship game not too long ago and I cant remember who if anyone won it. But anyway that's water under the bridge and I reckon we will create problems for you just don't expect to win easy :D:D

(Edit: Lost some text there, somewhere. I meant to say that it should be interesting next weekend. Seeing Jason Puncheon's name reminds me of the song that Saints fans used to sing about him when he was at St Mary's - but it's not really suitable for polite company :))
