Hi @JohnnyBaker12021970 ... mate, that hard chair is not helping (at least not without substantial pillows / cushions, to support your frame) as you're compressing a damaged area and your back now complains as a result. A recliner works wonders. I tore mine months back and they really hurt. Get well and whatever you do, don't push it..

I have Asperger Syndrome which is an autism spectrum condition and a full diagnosis of Adult ADHD which are characterised by impairments in social communication, social interaction and social imagination. I also have a rigid and somewhat unpredictable routine. I also experience obsessive rituals, some a bit overwhelming. But I have a talent in articulate creative writing skills and possess a photographic rote memory. I have sensory sensitivity and get upset by loud noises, bright colours or lights, and notice the texture and consistency of certain foods more making my dietary choices extremely limited or restricted to certain food components. I dislike conflict and lies. The Adult ADHD also makes me very moody and cross.
Good Afternoon, my friends, at 4:32 postmeridian British summer time, on, Monday 23rd April 2018 in the common era,

Today I've eaten a Sainsbury's Basics spaghetti bolognese ready meal, with minimal spaghetti, and a cheese omelette made from 2 eggs, grated mild cheddar cheese, black pepper and a pinch of salt. My blood glucose reading was, at this time, 6.0 millimoles per litre.

I've done really well in laying off of the carbs today, apart from the minimal carbs in my spaghetti bolognese ready meal plus the added glucose and sodium. my blood glucose level now at 8:02 pm was 5.7 mmol.

Good Morning, my lovely friends @ickihun, @heh, Debra Sue, @Mike D, @eldergarth, @tina_marie, @eddie1968, @13lizanne and @Guzzler, at 5:39 antemeridian, British Summer Time on Tuesday 24th April 2018 CE,

Last night at 8:10 postmeridian, British Summer Time, yesterday Monday 23rd April 2018 CE I ate a small, minimal carbs Sainsbury's Basics Spaghetti Bolognese Ready Meal and enjoyed it very much.

My fasting blood glucose level this morning was 7.1 mmol, a 1 unit over the normal blood glucose between 4 and 7. I might have got a liver dump which I understand, if I'm honest, is quite a common symptom in diabetes. There was only a very small amount of carbohydrate in the ready meal.

I'm seeing the diabetes nurse today for routine appointment and results of my HbA1c test today.

Have a good day.

Dear @heh,

The burning, twitching intercostal muscular spasm-type pain caused by the sprain/bruising is still there but if I'm honest and I'm not mistaken it's growing much less in its intensity. A good friend called Ioanna, known to DCUK as a member and with a mental health disability and used to be a hospital nurse back in Athens, Greece treating and supporting children, adolescents and adults with autism spectrum disorders, said it could be weeks before the spasms finally die down. I realise that I have to stimulate the muscles and strengthen them through exercise and sticking to the LCHF diet and eaten "little, but often" as my elderly 87-year-old Dad advised.

Good luck with your Diabetic Nurse Specialist, lovely @heh. I shall pray for you to God the Father through His Son Our Lord Jesus Christ.

Morning everyone, too!

Just woke up and still in bed. I wonder what my bg is today? I also wonder if I should restart my metformin tomorrow? Although I'm joining the group fasters tonight for a 48hr fast.
Youngest is having a birthday tea-party this week so I may have to postpone my fasting. He's becoming a delight and now I know his autistic traits and that he isn't deliberately not wishing to push me away, I love him even more. I just didn't understand my baby. We are bonding more and more each day. :) :) :)

@heh I'm looking forward to your review. If you've just had hba1c remember winter one is always the worst so summer one will be even better.
I'm sure you will have a great result.

Seeing senior physiotherapist for an assessment on my back at tea time. Gulp! I've been worrying but I've woke much happier this morning.
Past 2 days my pelvis has been locked so back has locked too. Very very painful even on my 4 different painkillers.

It's 6:35 antemeridian, British Summer Time, today on Tuesday 24th April 2018 CE and I've just administered the following:-

* Lixisenatide 20 mcg glucagon-like peptide subcutaneous injection
* Metformin Hydrochloride 1000 mg
* Ramipril 10 mg
* Amlodipine 10 mg
* Bendroflumethiazide 2.5 mg
* Carbamazepine (Tegretol) 200 mg
* Tamsulosin Hydrochloride 400 mcg
* 2 x 200 mg Ibuprofen
* 2 x 500 mg Paracetamol

I also rubbed some Phorpain Ibuprofen gel into my sore intercostal muscles.

My blood glucose level now was 7.2 mmol, fasting, possibly spiked by the sugar coating on 200 mg pink Ibuprofen tablets plus intermittently incessant 1mg Nicorette QuickMist Nicotine Replacement Therapy oral spray medications.

Good Afternoon, Friends,

I reheated a chilled Sainsbury's Deep-Pan Pepperoni Pizza in my Microwave Oven which was 700-Watt-Capacity for 3 minutes. I also had a long snooze afterwards. I awoke with muscular cramps in my bruised intercostal muscles from where I slept on my tummy with pressure being applied to them from the 2 pillows on my bed. I've also just had a smoked glass mug of decaf coffee with 3 Sweetex saccharin sweetener tablets. I've now run out of milk and I don't have much money to buy anymore.
Johnny I have been finding a diabetic diet really expensive, but do you ever eat eggs, leafy salad, tuna and mayonnaise..they can be quite cheap x

@JohnnyBaker12021970 Read gel leaflet. I'm sure it says not with other ibuprofen products/tablets. Does it?
Don't overdose on ibuprofen hun. Not good for heart disease if anyone has it, by the way.
Johnny check for me please and don't take both..... I'm sure it says that. I could be wrong so have read of gel leaflet.

Good Morning, my dear, sweet, caring friend on Type 2 Life, @ickihun,

I've just read the Phorpain Ibuprofen Gel leaflet and there was a sub-section in there that stipulates it shouldn't be used simultaneously to other Ibuprofen products. I tend to not be very on-the-ball with that kind of stuff and I thank you for your quick, decisive mind and loving heart in warning me, with loyal and upright integrity and love. Thank you. :)

My blood glucose level at 8:08 antemeridian, British Summer Time this morning was a very good, healthy and optimum 6.7 mmol.

Lots of Love with my best wishes and Prayers,

@JohnnyBaker12021970, a sufferer of Asperger's Syndrome and Adult ADHD xXx.

Good man.
Maybe use gel inbetween tablets as only 8 tablets max dose per 24hrs too. So less if using gel too hun.
When do you need relief most? On rising or before bed?
Gel works quicker and targets just affected area rather than tablets. If you can afford it use gel only, every 4hrs or as instructed by chemist???

I just simmered some cauliflower florets on a gentle moderate number 5 heat on my electrical stove hob with a pinch of salt and some ground black pepper. When it had cooked I strained it and added a teaspoonful of Clover margarine and ate it. My blood glucose reading level after eating it at 9:49 antemeridian, British Summer Time was 6.2 mmol.

My Blood Glucose Reading Level at 11:39 Ante Meridian, British Summer Time was 6.7 mmol. I'm still abstinent from my tobacco misuse and compulsive consumption of complex and simple carbohydrates.
