Stay away from it!
All wheat based bread spikes T2s
I personally eat Burgen which is low carb. There are others, my local bakery have low again breads but they still spike me!
You just have to be careful what you get!.

I only eat Livlife or my own home made, but saying that, I bought 4 loaves 2 weeks ago and still have 3 and a half in the freezer. Just don't think of eating bread much anymore.

Well Friends, I hear what you're saying, but I believe if you make your own bread, it ought to be better than any bread you can buy in any shop.

I haven't made bread by hand yet, only used our breadmaker machine.

Nigel Slater has a wonderful simple soda bread recipe - if I could only find it!!

None, you don't need to waste carbs on it. I can't eat wheat so don't bother. People are too hung up on having bread.

If you bake a wholemeal loaf this size...

and have 1 slice... that is how much bread is ok for your bg. I used to use mars bars and lucozade to raise my blood sugar from a low, i didn't realize all i really needed was 1 piece of bread.

Seriously, I used to adore bread and thought I could never do without it, but I simply don't eat it anymore - there are far better ways for me to get the few carbs I eat
