Thanks for the replies. I'm on 2x 500mg metformin twice daily, 1x Januvia 100mg daily, 1x Ibersatan 300 mg daily and just been put back on 1x 80 mg Gliclazide twice daily. My diet Is 2x shredded wheat with semi skimmed milk for breakfast, I usually have beans on a couple of toast or sandwhich...

I have had type 2 for about 6 1/2 years. Initially diagnosed with a level of 31.8. I worked hard to drop my hb1ac to a steady 6-7. However my latest hb1ac (today)umped to 10.5, and a finger test was 22.1, 3 hrs after a granny smith apple! I thought I was doing all ok, but obviously not
