Hi all I have a cold at the moment but I'm supposed to have my blood tests and urine sample done Saturday for my annual review. Will my cold affect the results? Am I ok to still have them done or make another appointment. Thanks for your help.

No I never used to add sugar to foods or drinks before I was diabetic so I don't use sugar substitutes. I've cut carbs out foods I eat but now I want to eat loads of chocolate.

But why have I craving for this food when before I was diagnosed being diabetic I've never bothered eating this before? I find I'm craving foods high in carbs that I never bothered eating before? I.e. Chocolate, cake, crisp, sweets,? So I still don't understand why I'm wanting to eat this...

Dont think its too serious because I would have had an appointment to see a doctor or diabetic nurse asap. It says my appointment is with the practice nurse 10 days time so there not in any hurry to see me. All other results came back fine.[emoji106]

Hi ive just had results bk for my anual check up. It says ACR are better if under 3.5 my results are 4.6[emoji45] what does this mean? Is it still ok or will I be given more tablets to take.
