Diagnosed with Type 2 several months after a kidney transplant, and as a consequence of steroid and anti-rejection drugs.
Levels improved after stopping pills and focusing on low carb diet instead.
I am currently not working and don't expect to be any time soon. Degrees in Classics and Law don't seem to count if you are 53! I am, however, still writing...one day...one day...

HbA1c Oct 8th 2015 : 54 (7.1%; 8.6 mmols); Nov 1st 2015 - Low Carb diet/meds stopped;
HbA1c Nov19th 2015 : 49 (6.6%; 7.9 mmols); HbA1c Dec 17th 2015 : 43 (6.1%; 7.1 mmols); HbA1c July 21st 2016 : 43 (6.1%; 7.1 mmols) ;
HbA1c March 3rd 2017 : 41 (5.9%; 6.8mmols); HbA1c November 16th 2017 : 37 ; HbA1c January 25th : 42 (pfft!)
