    Gender:
    Female
    Birthday:
    Dec 29, 1987 (Age: 29)
    Location:
    Newcastle Upon Tyne
    Occupation:
    Office Monkey
    Type of diabetes:
    Type 1
    Treatment type:
    Insulin
    Medication:
I'm on the basal/bolus using novarapid and glargine.
    Exercise:
I dance once a week and run as often as I can.
    Likes:
Music, art, dress making, films, nights out in bars and clubs, reading ... All the usual really
    Dislikes:
    Insects, ignorance, horror films.
I've been type 1 for over 15 years and I have never achieved that perfect control yet. I am busy fighting with the red tape to be considered for a pump to try that route as I feel I've exhausted all my other options.
I like to keep busy with my creative side, teaching myself guitar, dress making and developing my drawing skills. I'm sociable and can talk the ears off almost anyone but I also like quiet nights in on the sofa I front of a DVD.
