I have a neuropathy, apparently a complication of being a well-controlled T2 for 33 years! Sometimes my hands/fingers don't work properly. I suffer from dropsy, often especially in the mornings. I do also have osteo-arthritis, which doesn't help the situation.
Have you had a B12 test? The docs think my neuropathy is B12 deficiency.

Yes it was the best decision I made. My new doctor is overly thorough so it's a bit of a dramatic change. My prescription will stay at 100 strips but there's no restriction on how many times I can order them in a month so that's an improvement. :)

If your doctor is limiting your test strips he is not doing his job properly. I would remind him that his surgery gets more money if its diabetics are better controlled... So that ought to appeal to his self interest...
