Personally, I can manage without any alcohol. It's not that I don't like alcohol - I simply choose not to bother.

I once told off my diabetic nurse for repeatedly asking about alcohol intake - I just don't need it, simples.

Diet drinks - the artificial sweeteners taste vile.
Having to forswear foods I have loved all my life.
Trying to find low carb meals when eating out.
New Zealand Marlborough Sauvingnon Blanc ... just a sip, honestly :rolleyes:
