    Libra Sensor 2 not working

Thank you all. I’ve had a reply via email and they are sending a replacement sensor, which I’m pleased to hear! Agree completely that it’s a great thing, especially the alarms. I’ve certainly been grateful for the low alert during the night. I’ve got an appointment for my Hba1c bloods next...

    Libra Sensor 2 not working

Hi Jaylee. Yes I’ve registered with Libraview and I’m self funding. I did initially try the 14 day free trial and that’s what convinced me to self fund. Worth every penny I think, despite this one not working. Lol.

    Libra Sensor 2 not working

Thank you. This is my eighth one and had no trouble so far and would definitely try the free 14 day trial. I’ll remove it and apply another then get in contact with Libra tomorrow.

    Change over sensor

Hi there, I’ve been trying out the Abbott’s Freestyle 2 sensor and it’s now coming to the end of its 14 days. Am I able to apply a new one before it ends or do I need to wait until it finishes? Will it be okay to place on the same arm? Thank you - liking it so far!!!

    Type 2 Saxagliptin

Hi folks, I haven't posted for a while but are any of you out there on Saxagliptin? 3 years ago I started on insulin and then came off that and went into Glicazide. I eventually came of that and was diet/exercise only. I managed to get my hba1c down from 94 to 51 but then after Christmas it...

Wanting to put some weight on...

Same here, trying to keep weight on is my problem too! I've always been tiny (luckily), want to cut carbs but don't want to lose weight!

    Confused by diagnosis

Maybe speak to the nurse again. I had to do this as I was having to snack quite heavily between meals as my levels were low, hence why I ended up reducing down all the time. I felt quite sick with having to snack. Not pleasant at all.

    Yikes!

Hi folks! Well I had my appointment this morning with the consultant. I got asked lots of questions and must say he was excellent at listening to how things had been etc, which I found very reassuring. It seems because my insulin dose has gradually been reduced to once a day and only 4 units he...
