i,m home now
yesterday lunch time readings were brilliant. 5.6 then 6.2
fasting today 9.4
pre breakfast 8.1 after 7.2

i put it down to the increase in metformin
when i tested at lunch time, i was dubious about the low readings, that i retested on another finger and that was 0.2 increase

The Gliclazide (Zicron) will be helping, but diet is the key - so you are getting it right and it's down to your hard work, not just the medication. Well done.

Hi Ally, You shouldn't be so modest, you got to be doing something to help to get these numbers down if it was just the meds then we would all be ok.

Have you started any extra walking yet?
