Hi all.
This is a question about my Mum.
She is type 2 diagnosed a year or so ago given the usual bumph leaflet etc
Since i was diagnosed and researched more into type 2 low carbs and so on my Mum has followed me and reduced weight and lowered BS by testing.
She had had Lipitol for a few years now ( 2 years at 80mg ) and the last few weeks has been experiencing pains behind her knees making it very difficult to get moving in the morning and muscle pain n her arms.
The muscle pains seem to coincide with low carbing and though she has a dr's appointment tomorrow ( she put up with the aches/pains for weeks now thinking it was maybe arthiritus etc )
My question is it possible that reducing carbs, lowing her blood sugars , eating much healthier is conflicting with her 80mg dosage of Lipitol statins? even though she has been on this dosage for 2 years.
Thank you in advance for any information.
