Basal insulin still high after IVF miscarriage?

Hi. Before IVF my basal was 18. During IVF and 7-week pregnancy it went up to 32. I’m now more than 3 weeks post-miscarriage and insulin needs still at 32. They said hormones could be up for 3 weeks after the miscarriage. Has anyone else experienced this, that their insulin resistance didn’t go back to normal? IVF Dr says she wants to see it come back down. My weight is back to normal, so that’s not why. Diabetes Drs don’t seem to know much about IVF and miscarriage. Appreciate any help as keen to do FET asap. Nothing I can do really to bring it down! Eating and exercising as before. Thanks
