I have switched my in-between snack (bowl of strawberries) to a bowl of berries, the exact mixture you see on the picture of the included link. Since then I started to show symptoms of DKA and my glucose increased by 2-3 points each day. It was the exact same amount in gramms as the strawberries. The past 2 days I've cut the amount in half, and still get the same reaction (higher sugar than usually, and weird alcoholic aftertaste in my mouth that I haven't had since my diagnosis last year). I'm getting pretty scared because even when my sugar goes down to 5-6, now I still have this aftertase in my mouth.
Do you have the same reaction to these berries?
