well my average has gone up...knew id been over indulging so the sweet stuffs out of the window,another metformin added to my diet :(

that should have read another glicozide....i dont really follow a specialised diet,my average has gone down the last 2 3 monthly checks but i have over indulged my sweet tooth this time.....interested to read elsewhere on here about exercise pushing blood sugar up as i have been doing more exercise

Diet can have a great effect on your Bg levels, so what you eat is important. Without knowing what types of things you are consuming we can only hazard a guess as to why the levels are higher. Over indulging can raise the levels.

As for exercise, it can both raise and also lower your Bg levels. See previous posts on the subject of exercise on the Forum. It really all depends on the type, the intensity and many other variables. Without some further information we can't really help you out ?

I agree with cugila. It isn't so simple and I am sure they can help you if you provide them with more information. This forum has to be one of the best places for information and help I have ever found.
Hope you get to the bottom of things by the way.
