Hi to all you parents was given the number of our local carers advice charity, I was amazed at how much support I was given and what help was available for parents with caring responsibilities, I am going to my first therapy session next week thinking of having a full body massage ! they advise on DLA (even have experts to support filling the form in), they advised me about Merlin Magic wand charity which allocate tickets for children with illness/disabilities, we have applied for our free Alton towers tickets last night. they have also applied on my behalf for an award ( a one of payment) to support a special treat for the carer. Its definatly worth while exploring your local carers group for you parents who feel a little stressed and overwhelmed at the moment.
