went to see my doctor because my BS levels before meals are around 9 before meals and around 10.6, 2 hours after meals
the past few days i have not eaten anything that i shouldn,t
he just said to carry on as i am as he is not worried
i,m worried as around 6 weeks ago they were around 5.7

Your concerns are genuine but doctors just want to fob us off saying its ok unless we have really got to levels of 20's
Have you tried retesting after washing hands again.

i will see how they go over next few days then will try to see another doctor
i did re wash my hands

Looking back I notice that you did fall off the wagon a week or so ago. While you have managed to get back on and sort yourself out, it might be that your body is taking a bit longer to settle back down. Don't know for sure how we react when we have that type of blip, but it's just a thought. Hope it settles back down soon.

I agree with @Ruth B

If you give it a couple of weeks, you may find things settle down. You've had a tough time lately, and it takes a while to get back on track, but it does happen. Just give it time.
