My diet is very similar to yours but i still have to inject but the units i take has been massively reduced. i know i can fine tune it more if i try.

Yes, I believe you can, but be careful, and check your levels constantly.

I personally don't count carbs or measure anything. The amount of food that I now eat, is quite small compared to what I ate during the bad times before diagnosis.
