Nine months ago was diagnosed by specialist to have glaucoma in both eyes. Was prescribed Latanoprost, one drop each eye every night.
Last month went to see Specialist, which was a different one to which I saw before hi said I didn't have glaucoma and took me off the drops.
Since coming off the drops the symtoms I was experiencing whilst on the drops, tiredness, shortness of breath, blood glucose readings between 8 and 12., have gone, my blood readings are now within the normal range of between 4-7. Has anybody else had a similar experience as my Doctor says that the eye drops would not be the cause of my readings etc.

Sorry post went to soon ! Same as you in both eyes and put drops in twice a day . It has made no difference to my blood sugar at all still the same . I have an appointment on 30th June for further tests I hope to stop the drops as I hate messing about with my eyes and makes me feel sick when the eye drops roll down the back of your throat !

Hi I had the same drops recently, but were stopped to see if without the drops the pressure would elevate. Some eye drops can cause some reactionsin diabetics regarding blood sugars, I noticed last year ( 3 different drops to take at same time, caused unexplained hypo's, so glad when the drops finished. Many medications have some side affects, but not everyone gets them and some only very mildly and with different reactions.
With best wishes

thank you for your reply and I am pleased to hear your comments. I can rest a little now thinking that the eye drops could have caused my higher readings which the diabetic nurse couldn't explain.
kind regards
