Hello!

I am a T2, about 7 months after diagnosis.

When I started taking Metformin I had about three weeks when my eyesight really deteriorated.
I read a book or newspaper at all. The TV was blurred and putting on make up, then trying to check what it looked like was a joke!

I knew it could happen and it went. No worries.

Now I find that there are odd occasions when my eyesight gets quite blurred.
I'm guessing it could be linked to a high sugar day ... is that possible?

And also, is this something that others experience and should I do something about it, or just manage it, unless it gets worse

Thank you!

I've just answered your post on the other thread.

I had terrible blurred vision because my blood glucose levels were all over the place.
Once you begin to get near normal blood glucose levels your eyes will be more clear. I believe your are not in control and are eating too much sugar and carbs.
Reduce your carbs more!
