Yesterdays food
B/ scrambled eggs with mozzarella, almonds, benecol
S/ cheese string (on spin bike)
S/ cheese string (after run)
S/ protein shake with almond milk, wholemeal toast & peanut butter
L/tin of salmon, avocado, walnuts
S/ cheese on toasted banana & walnut bread
D/ rump steak, corn on the cob, red onions, mushrooms, horseradish
S/ cheddar, Brazil nuts
Exercise
45 minutes circuits
45 minutes burnout spin (14 miles)
1 mile run
Kept heart rate belt on till mid afternoon, saying I’d burnt 2,200 calories
Mfp says food eaten was 2,420 calories
Better not stop then!Only cough when I stop, but feeling a lot better, just need to eat loads today now

4 x decline deficit push ups to failure (feet up on parallel bars, hands on kettlebells, pausing in stretched position at the bottom)
4 x decline supinated inverted body rows
4 x triceps extensions to failure hands on parallel bars

Out of all the exercise contraptions I have the one thing that gives me that endorphin hit is running, on treadmill and outside. Not even the spin bike does it anymore!Ah, but then where would I get my endorphin hit.

A lot of my mates at school hated PE but cross country in freezing winter weather was my fix. They would bunk off and smokes cigs at the swings whilst taking it in turns to play look out for the teachers! I would go around twice, crossing two fields and a kissing gate. I could never run hurdles or do the long jump I was too short and I was never picked for rounders as I couldn't run on the flat, but I could belt the ball like a cricketer apparently! I got ribbed a lot for loving it, that and hockey. It must be in my genes as my brother is the same and my dad loved being outside in all weathers too.Can honestly say I’ve never had an endorphin hit from running, worst exercise ever
