I just had blood test results back and my HbA1c is 94 I don't know if this is good or bad however it's slightly lower than when I was diagnosed at the beginning of September as then it was in the 100's

Welcome @Aaron187 well it is certainly going in the right direction, so well done for that. Your profile states you are Type 1, what medication are you on? Has your Health Care Professional given you guidance?

To be honest I've been told I'm type 1 then was told type 2 then type 1 so at the moment I don't know what I am. I'm taking 500mgs metformin and 24 units of lantus insulin have an appointment with the specialist on Thursday but still won't know what type I am as they sent the blood test for antibodies in the wrong tube. I hope I'll know by Christmas lol the diabetes nurse I saw yesterday seems to think I have type 1
Yes but he is going in the right direction and has just started treatment. The initial treatment is a step by step affair and reading the thread it sounds like there is no definate diagnosis yet.

You haven't been diagnosed long so it's ok. Also, it's not good to get your HbA1C down too quickly. Hopefully your specialist appointment will help you more, and over the next months your HbA1C will continue to drop
