That's very interesting, thanks for posting. I'm currently on Byetta 10 ug 2x daily, so a once a week jab that works better would suit me fine.
i never experienced any nausea or reduced appetite on this medication. Good about the nausea not so good about no weight reduction. Oh well.

Thanks for posting that link. Eli Lily and Amylyn were hoping to have this new weekly version available nearly a year ago but Amylyn, who are doing the clinical testing, were having difficulties in coming up with an appropriate delivery mechanism that would allow the exenatide to remain effective in a patient's body for a week. The article would indicate that this is now being independently tested, which looks like they have at last overcome the problem.
