In the 6s!

I recently stopped taking my 1 Metformin tablet. The wind was killing me....

I have however kept up the Simvastatin.

I'm wondering if it okay for me to be in the 6s most of the time? Mid 6 seems to be quite common for me, even as a fasting reading. I usually fluctuate between high 5s and mid 6s at fasting, 6s being more common.

Is this acceptable?

PS - Started taking Chromium Picolinate today instead of Met to see how it works on me.

Thank you Nigel! Doesn't feel like much to celebrate to be honest.

Seeing my GP on Thursday btw. Am going to insist on seeing the diabetologist. Need professional advice, not the Mickey Mouse type.
