Iodine salt?

It's possible that having cut salt (and so the iodinated salt) one could have a iodine deficiency? Normally I don't use salt, I use soybean sauce that is salty for salad dressings and I don't salt meat (never done it actually).

If this is the case i could decide to salt or eat more iodine rich foods, any advice?

If you are worried about whether it is low or high. You can get an FBC (Full blood count) done next time you see your GP, which would have your sodium level on it as part of the electrolyte panel. It's usually done as part of a yearly check up. Knowing what it is would be helpful in deciding whether to add more salt.
