Customer helplines that use recorded menus that promise to put me through to the right person but never do - and being ill. Oh, and did I mention customer helplines :)
Viagra was originally developed as a treatment for hypertension, angina, and other symptoms of heart disease. So if the Viagra has been prescribed by your GP as you say then they should be quite safe.

The reason the paramedics may have asked about it would be to ascertain what meds you had taken that might impact on their treatment, so they would have been interested in any heart related meds.

Your doctor would not have prescribed them if he/she thought there was a risk, take the pill and enjoy your sex life

NO! Do not take Viagra with any vaso dialator. If you use GTN spray for your heart, then taking both can result in instant death.
