Diet drinks - the artificial sweeteners taste vile.
Having to forswear foods I have loved all my life.
Trying to find low carb meals when eating out.
My last 2 Libre2 have both stopped transmitting 1-2 days before they end.
I start getting "out of range" warnings, then it just stops transmitting.
I can still scan.
So it is effectively Libre2 prior to the software update, except no "out of range" warnings.

I buy from Abbott in batches of 7 for the free shipping, so I think these are both from the same batch (but the second could be a replacement for a failed one).
If the next one does the same I will report it to Abbott so that they are aware.
As I don't rely on the alarms but use the Libre2 as a long term BG logging mechanism it is only a minor inconvenience to lose 1-2 days automatic updates.
However Abbott need to know if they are shipping a bad batch of sensors.

Has anyone else seem similar, recently?

I haven’t had this problem, however I’m puzzled by your comment about free shipping. I buy them 6 at a time and I’m not charged shipping. Sorry to derail :bag:

Yep. Ever since the updated CGM type app thing. The last 2 or 3 days Bluetooth stops working but still reads when scanned.

I have this issue sometimes, often towards the end, but sometimes only part way through. I also had one on which the Bluetooth failed after a couple of days, I attached my miaomiao2 and kept using it using that, and then realised that the Bluetooth had come back to life when I was looking at active Bluetooth devices in the house.

There was a minimum order amount for free shipping at one time.
That may have changed, or I may have ordered an extra one for luck and just keep repeating the order.

Just wondering if the sensor is cutting out the Bluetooth when it starts to run low on battery.
In which case fitting the sensor a day or so before activating may be counter productive.

I should have kept quiet, mine failed the same evening so I'm now using my miaomiao2 (and sadly have lost the 1 minute data in XDrip+ so am back to 5min dots!)

I tried scanning with my Libre 2 reader this morning but it said no sensor and change sensor. But I have 2 days still to go.
OOP2 & Xdrip is still working fine.

For some reason my L2 kept reading but stopped scanning for 3 days then just stopped working altogether I replaced it the phone wouldn't scan it till about an hour later it still gives readings but doesn't scan, curious!!

Latest one alarming signal loss with 3 days to go.
Looks like this is a common fault.
However this has not always happened with the latest software.

Until it fails the Bluetooth seems pretty effective.
Earlier software, the phone complained if you went even a little way away from it.
I am wondering if the Bluetooth signal is being boosted when there is a space between the phone and sensor and this is running the battery down early.
I will try and experiment with the next sensor.

Well, there's a thing.
This one has suddenly started working again after a period of signal loss.
Very strange.

Hello,
my reader is mobile phone and with my Libre 2 sensor I frequently have a "Signal loss". In this case, a scan with my mobile phone will re-establish the connection, the automatic glucose measurement is back and the alarm sounds when my glucose values are out of range. As I have frequent "Signal loss" alarms for each sensor (whatever the reason), I simply turned off the "Signal loss" alarm and I can usually use sensor to it's end (if no other error occurs).

Started a new sensor yesterday and it won't work over BlueTooth.
Signal loss message right from the start, but scans fine (so more or less back to before the software update).
I will ring the Abbott help line on Monday instead of using email, and see if this is quicker/easier.
I can't find any stored diagnostic messages about signal loss in the Error Log.

Threatening to ring the help line seems to have worked.
It suddenly started communicating in the early hours of the morning.
I have no idea what is going on.

Not had that issue but had a sensor replaced 2 weeks ago as it had a big needle & the filament, went to change sensor yesterday & no filament just a big thick needle, all six were like that including the replacement direct from Abbott, currently back to meter until hopefully working replacements received

I've also had one come back from the dead, I also have no idea why, but for some reason the Bluetooth did start working again.
