Lxyumia advice please!

Hi! I start Lxyumia today along with my basal insulin. I also take Glipizide and Glucophage SR .
For anyone who has had experience with this, did they find it was better to take it as a morning dose or evening dose? (I take my basal insulin before my evening meal).
I am halving my insulin to begin with to reduce the risk of hypos.(with the long term goal that if this works I can come off the insulin again). I took byetta for 3 years until last year when they said my BMI wasn't high enough for it! Now, I've piled the weight back on since starting the insulin hence the need for the lixinatide.
I'd be grateful for any hints and tips etc. Byetta was awful in the beginning but I stuck with it and it did the trick for a while, but stopped working well for me in the end.
Thanks in advance for any info you may have! X

I take mine in the morning after breakfast. No really bad side effects, just a rush to the loo once or twice, otherwise fine.

I just started this last week thankfully so far no side effects. I take it first thing in the morning before eating. I am Type2 and still taking Glypyside. So far sugar readings are still very high but I have been advised by medical staff that I should get more control once I start on the higher dose.
