Menopause and Viruses

I read on You Tube a report from an endocrinologist, that HRT can prevent Diabetes 2
in women who are susceptible. My blood pressure and muscle/fat ratio certainly changed
for me starting menopause, and weight gain became sudden. I asked for HRT but my dr. was of the post 70s
opinion due to fear of cardiac risks.

In the "Johns Hopkins Diabetic" book, virus is another cause. I had a terrible cold that
turned to bronchitis and lasted 6 months. I took a sweet pneumonia drug (sorry I forget
the name something like dextramethorphine****), and had sudden diabetes symptoms.

Interesting.
